Yolka 2025

This year, at the Christmas tree, the children helped Masha and Vitya rescue Father Frost from the captivity of Koschei the Deathless so that he could come to the Teremok – Nottingham Russian School for the celebration to congratulate the children. Together with the audience, the children made their way through a fairytale forest, fought evil characters – Baba Yaga, Leshy, and Matvey the Cat – and at the same time played games with the audience and held interactive competitions.

After his triumphant rescue, Father Frost and his granddaughter, Snow Maiden, danced with the children and entertained the students and guests. All the children received gifts from Father Frost, and the adults enjoyed socialising and culinary delights from the festive table. It's a pity that the holiday is over, but we know that Father Frost, Snow Maiden and Yolka will return to us next year!
